I have always wanted to work with children and in 1996 I started my career in childcare as a Nursery Nurse. In January 2000 I started working at Lakeview Children’s nursery and was then promoted to nursery manager in 2004. In 2007 I completed my NVQ level 4 whilst having a family of my own.My ambition has always been to own my own nursery and in January 2008 I was giving this very opportunity.

I have worked at Lakeview Children’s Nursery since November 2013 and have twenty years’ experience in childcare and education.

I have worked at Lakeview Nursery since February 2008. I am a qualified Level 4, first aid trained and fully qualified in Safeguarding.

I have been at LakeView Children's Nursery since 2001 with two short breaks in between.

I love coming to work with the babies and I love to see them grow into confident young people.

I left school in 2010 and went to Nelson and Colne College to study childcare.When I got my Level 3 in 2013 I started working at Lakeview Nursery.

I have worked at Lakeview nursery for two years as a modern apprentice and I am now a qualified member of staff.

I have been at Lakeview Nursery since 2018, I am level 3 qualified in learning and development. I have been in Childcare for over 4 years in an educational setting and 2 years in a residential setting.

Third Officer in Charge & Swans Supervisor – Green Group

I qualified in 2010 after completing my Level 3 in Childcare at Burnley College. I started work at Lakeview in May 2013 as a deputy supervisor of the Ducks room. In 2017 I completed my Level 2 in Management and Leadership.

Swans Supervisor – Orange Group

I qualified in 2007 when I completed my BTEC Level 3 in Early Years Education at Burnley College. I went on to complete my BA HONS in Primary Education at Edge Hill University.

Swans room – Yellow Group

I studied a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Education at Nelson and Colne College and started work at Lakeview in October 2011.

Swans room – Blue Group

I qualified in 2016 where I studied for an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education. I started working in the Ducks room in 2014 whilst I studied as a modern apprentice.

I have worked at Lakeview for almost three years. I work in the Pre-school room but I also have responsibilities in the office.

Pre School Room Supervisor - Yellow Group

I started working at Lakeview Nursery in September 2007, shortly after gaining my Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

Pre School – Green Group

I qualified in June 2008 and attended Craven College. I have worked at Lakeview for 9 years.

I started working in the baby room and then moved onto the Swans which I love.

Pre School - Purple Group

I am 28 years old and I started working at Lakeview in September 2014.

I have worked at Lakeview since 2013.

Pre School – Blue Group

I have worked within Early Years since leaving school in 2003.

I currently work in Pre-School and I'm also the Nursery SENCO.
