OUR OUTDOOR PROVISION
We are located overlooking lake Burwain in the heart of Foulridge. Our setting overlooks the stunning countryside of Foulridge with views of fields, trees and much loved wildlife.
Each age group has access to the outdoors from their room using same level flooring and patio doors, this ensures children at all ages and stages of development can access these facilities.
Alongside their own outdoor play areas we have access to our grassed area and woodlands which houses our mud kitchen where children can experience different textures and opportunities.
Our extensive outdoor provision ensures that throughout the spring and summer months we can offer extra curricular sessions to the children these include football sessions and bikeability classes.
Our locality gives us great opportunities to explore the wider community visiting local amenities, shops, access to mainline bus services so that we can visit places further a field. Outings of late have seen the children take part in many activities including a day at Gazegill education centre and farm, Eureka children's museum, pets at home, local shops and post office, Barnoldswick beach, Supermarkets, pet shop, local parks, the library, sensory room and transport journeys.
